Shipping costs and timelines vary depending on your location. Original paintings are typically shipped within 5–7 business days after payment confirmation. International shipping may take 7–21 business days depending on the destination country and customs procedures.

The timeline for a custom commission depends on the size, complexity, and current workload. Typically, small to medium-sized commissions (up to 50×60 cm) are completed within 3–5 weeks. Larger or more detailed pieces may take 6–10 weeks. Once you place your commission, Sakina will provide an estimated completion date. Progress photos are shared at key stages so you can follow along with the creation of your artwork.

Prices for original paintings at Atelier Merletta range from €450 to €570 for available works in the current collection. Custom commission prices vary based on size, subject complexity, and materials required. A small pet portrait may start from €350, while large, detailed wildlife compositions can exceed €800. Fine art prints are available at more accessible price points. Contact us for a personalized quote for your commission.

Because each artwork is unique and created with great care, we do not accept returns on original paintings or custom commissions. However, if your artwork arrives damaged during shipping, please contact us within 48 hours with photos of the damage. We will work with you to find the best resolution, which may include replacement or a partial refund. Fine art prints may be exchanged if there is a manufacturing defect.

To preserve the beauty of your original oil painting: keep it away from direct sunlight to prevent fading, avoid areas with high humidity or temperature fluctuations, dust gently with a soft dry cloth when needed, and consider professional framing with UV-protective glass. Yes! Atelier Merletta is located at Rumbeeksesteenweg, Roeselare, Belgium. We are open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Sunday visits are available by appointment. We warmly welcome art lovers to come and experience the original works in person. Seeing the texture and detail of an original painting in person is a truly immersive experience that cannot be replicated digitally.
